Manifesto :
The Expression of Soaring
Throughout the history of mankind, the horse has been regarded as a symbol of power, speed, and freedom. For thousands of years,
humans have revered the horse as an embodiment of courage, determination, and liberty. However, while the posture and expression
of the horse are often associated with commanding authority or serene elegance, the sculpture "The Expression of Soaring" was
born to challenge this traditional perception.
The sculpture captures an exhilarating moment of a Friesian horse. The determination and excitement of the horse find expression
in the slight tilt of its head to the left and towards the audience. Its eyes reflect a suppressed excitement with a gaze
directed towards the observer. The ears, laid back, signify a sensitivity to its surroundings. The powerful and graceful muscles
reflect the dynamism of the energy and movement within.
While representing the horse's natural elegance and power, this sculpture also offers a glimpse into its inner world. In the poise
of the horse, there lies a subdued strength and inner peace, as well as a quest for intellectual freedom and independence.
"The Expression of Soaring" transcends the physical power of the horse to symbolize a pursuit of spiritual freedom.
This sculpture invites the viewer to admire the power and freedom of the horse while also encouraging a connection with one's own
strong and liberated spirit. As depicted by the sculpture, true power and freedom come from an inner strength and determination
to move forward despite the challenges of the external world.
