I am a freelance artist fashion designer and illustrator based in İstanbul, Munich and Urla. I make traditional brush and pen artwork with a strong visual style for a variety of heritage. I also create original paintings for exhibitions and private commissions.I gained a BA in Fine Art painting from Mimar Sinan University of Fine arts ( Painting and Mosaic)anddiploma from Lasalle International academy ( Fashion design and Marketing), achieved also diploma of Munich Academy of fine Arts before setting up as a freelance artist, illustrator and fashion designer. Working under the name ‘Ece Gauer’ I have been able to licence my work commercially. But I also continue to exhibit my original paintings in shows around the the world.
I find self initiated projects through travelling and exploring. Making time to visit popular places around the world. From this I try to bring a fresh perspective and a bold palette of colour to the landmarks you already know. And perhaps introduce you to a few new locations along the way.
