Evren Sezgin was born on June 1, 1978 in Samsun. After completing her graduate degree in the Department of Fine Arts of Ondokuzmayıs University, she held her first solo exhibition “Silhouttes” in 1998. Sezgin hold 7 more exhibitions until 2015, she attracted great media publicity with her exhibitions “Parts” and “Unexpected Stories” which were held within the scope of “Art for the Soul” Project. Her works reached art lovers once again in her exhibition at Beylerbeyi Palace in the same year. In March 2016, she participated in “Euro Expo Art 2016” within the scope of “Vernice Art Fair” in Forli/Italy where she was awarded the special category prize of “High Artistic Value” with her work “Maiden Tower and Swallows”. She participated in “Quintessenze” in Rome in September 2016 and “ArtParmaFair” in October 2016. Finally, she participated in Art Ankara (4th Contemporary Art Fair) in March 2018. Limited editions of Sezgin's works are currently available to art lovers on online platforms such as Beymen Home, Hipicon and Lovinart.
The artist terms her technic as “fragmantation” where vibrant colors of acrylic paint blends with collage in her works to bring soul and life to basic materials with an aesthetic appetite.
