Peter Zimmermann

Zimmermann's works are highly diverse. In the late 1980s, he created "Book Cover Paintings," in which he represented the covers and titles of atlases, art books, travel guides, and dictionaries using epoxy on canvas. Zimmermann's compositions, known for his use of epoxy for over twenty years, possess a quality that arises from his ability to perceive color and light as if engaging in a kind of alchemical interaction.
