Malik Bulut

The artist explores the boundaries of marble and attempts to capture the movement of the stone in his artworks. He focuses on the relationship between marble and light, utilizing the transparency of the stone.

Malik Bulut

Malik Bulut was born in Silifke in 1974. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of Mersin University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2000 and worked as an assistant to sculptor Mehmet Aksoy from 2000 to 2004. In 2013, he received the Superior Service Medal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. He also received awards such as the Social Education and Development Association Award in 2012 and the Eger-Art Sculpture Workshop Award in 2009. In 1999, he won the first prize in the Sculpture Competition of Cukurova University. His works are included in state, university, and private collections.
