Kadriye İnal
In her works, Kadriye İnal addresses issues of freedom, identity, and self in the context of social, cultural, and psychosocial aspects of human existence. As an artist who embraces traditional figurative sculpture as her individual expression tool, she continues her production by using an interdisciplinary language and exploring the boundaries of a single material.
Kadriye İnal was born in Izmir in 1980. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Izmir. After completing her undergraduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2003, she pursued her master's degree in the Sculpture Department of the same university in 2006. İnal is currently continuing her doctoral studies in the field of Art and Design at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts.
İnal held her first solo exhibition in Izmir in 2017, and her second exhibition at ALAN Istanbul in 2015. She continues her artistic practice in her studio in Istanbul.
