Using oil paint and her own mixed technique, Akdemir creates her paintings on plywood or canvas, primarily focusing on still life and female portraits. The women depicted in Akdemir's portraits serve as her source of inspiration. Her works reflect the stillness and simple emotions of women. Through their faces and gazes, Akdemir captures the feelings of concern, timidity, thoughtfulness, silence, and serenity, encapsulating their complex emotions in her works.
