Erdinç Babat
Throughout his career, the artist has experimented with different styles and produces his works in series. Babat places all emotions and states related to the human condition at the center of his abstract paintings. Particularly in today's world, he addresses the individual's dilemmas, the feeling of solitude, and the inner world of human beings in his artworks.
Born in İzmir, Erdinç Babat completed his undergraduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. After his graduation, he continued his artistic activities in İzmir for a while before moving to Istanbul in 2010. Babat held his first solo exhibition in 2000 and has since organized twelve solo exhibitions. His artworks have been featured in over thirty group exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey, Austria, and the Czech Republic. His works are included in private collections both nationally and internationally. The artist continues his artistic practice at his studio located in Galata, Istanbul.
