Candaş Şişman

Candaş Şişman is an artist who uses digital and mechanical technologies as expressive tools. His works encompass various disciplines such as multisensory installations, immersive experiences, sound installations, kinetic sculptures, animations, and audiovisual performances. By employing digital and mechanical technologies, Şişman manipulates our perceptions of time, space, and motion, bridging the gap between digital and physical realities.

Candaş Şişman

As one of the founders of Nohlab, a creative studio that produces interdisciplinary experiences in art, design, and technology, Candaş Şişman is also a co-founder of NOS, a collaboration platform that specializes in audiovisual performances. In recent years, he has been teaching courses on "sound art" at various universities. Since 2007, Candaş Şişman has received the Prix ARS Electronica Honorary Mention and the Jury Special Award at the Japan Media Arts Festival. He has participated in many important festivals and exhibitions such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, ARS Electronica, TEDX, TodaysArt, and FILE.
